THE ADVENTURES OF MR DAM DILIGENT

Meet Mr Dam Diligent: an inventive soul, well over 330 years old, with a talent for making the ordinary wonderfully absurd.

Across 99 tongue-in-cheek short stories by Ian Trafford Walker, Dam’s adventures wander from the playground to the stars, through dreams, unrequited love and eccentric inventions. When his aquatic car sinks during a fishing trip, he manages to catch himself. Naturally.

Written over ten years, this collection blends playful nonsense with a sideways look at everyday life. Humour for all ages, especially children, and anyone who suspects there’s a little Dam Diligent in us all.
