THE SQUATTERS LAST STAND

"E-book, 229 pages, large font, autobiography. This book is dedicated to Bob, Fritz and George and all the people of Froglord Head who are still washing ashore. “Fully expect a Hairy Ferry to wash in one day, even a Roaring Fossil….used to
throw off old mattresses. My mother found her dressing gown at Ratman’s Flat 
once!”   

Froglord was a sharp shard of shipwrecked spice cracked off - a mixture of 
fermented feelings, dreams and reality, square and strong. It taught us how to tie
knots, how to build, how to design and be inventive, how to think beyond the 
square. It was a great adventure wherein the freedom of youth went unbridled 
yet with decorum. Those many lives who came before were wound into our 
songs and laughter for we followed and enjoyed ourselves as they did, wrapped 
in the cocoon of the Cove. We were and still are, beyond the grasp of society, a 
piece cracked off, perhaps now the wrong way in like a splinter. This is one 
such splinter which will never come out.
