No shipping. No waiting.

Back in the early days I would paint anything with endless paint which people gave me. I painted my room, the school room the local arcade, walls and windows, no canvas needed. People loved them but they all came down. Eventually they gave me paint to paint the History of Byron Bay for our Bicentennial year. This was my seventh public wall. What an honour it was! This reservoir dominates the Byron landscape or it used to until I planted 40 banksia trees around it to help protect it from the sun, and the wi-fi people covered it with antennae and receivers, boosters with blue metal spears to keep the graffitists off. But too late. This book and a few scattered pics are all that is left. The locals with great effort went and painted over all the details thus preserving time forever. Young children scratched out the eyes of the first brass band as they were playing, rather as I was painting. This was Byron Shire's Bicentennial Grant money, 1988, stretched thin. Hope you enjoy the book!
