He lived by painting shop windows and growing vegetables and fished and shunned selling his art as it was too much hassle. He has produced 25 large canvases (see here) up to 600 + smaller works, 1000 works on paper (see Mrs and Mr) and seven public murals. As well as a hand full of sculptures, bush furniture, tables etc, 4 houses, quite a few inventions, and much more!
